This miniseries tells the story of three young girls, Annie (C. Hackett), Laura (C. Harker) and Carmen (R. Bennett), who want to escape their dull small-town lives. They all get tempted by the devil (Mart) but only Carmen is seduced. All their lives are constantly affected by the devil's evil tricks and it's only when they unite to save their old friend that they can destroy the evil powers and find happiness.

This is definitely one of Martin's best projects. The series is entertaining and full of surprises till the end. There's also a lot of humor in it, in short it's thoroughly enjoyable. If there is anything to complain about then it might be the a little bit too happy end. The devil is not so easy to get rid of ... not for good! We would have prefered it if he would have been lurking in the shadows somewhere at the end. But well, you can't have everything, it's still a very good production ... no wonder it was released in a shorter version on video.
