Matthew (Mart) is a rich and famous painter but nevertheless he feels unhappy and lonely. He's obsessed with an affinity to everything dark and macabre. When one night he phones a dubious sexline he is convinced he has found a soulmate and falls in love with the voice on the other end. After some rather bizarre games on the phone they finally make a date but when Matthew arrives he only finds a slaughtered woman. He becomes the police' prime suspect and because all the evidence leads to him his only chance is to uncover the mystery himself.

As Martin says 'some scripts sound really interesting when you read them, but when you see the final result it's not actually what you wanted'. We reckon this flick is a good example for this. The story as such is not all that bad and has a lot of potential, but unfortunately every time when a bit of suspense is beginning to build up another senseless and cheap sex scene comes along. As Martin told us the majority of these scenes were cut in when it became clear that the film would be released on video only. Unfortunately it is more than obvious that these scenes were cut in later, they don't add to the story, they rather tear it apart and the whole thriller plot gets destroyed. The absolute highlight of the film is Mart's scene with the guitar (call us sentimental), but the end as such leaves a lot of questions open and gives the movie a very incomplete touch.
