  Summary

Two young buddies, Dexter (P. Berg) and T.J. (P. Gross), decide to quitt their dull inner city lives and head for Aspen to become famous ski instructors. Once there they discover that making it big in such a glamorous town is not all that easy and trying to get there they both lose their way a bit. T.J. sells himself to a rich business woman while actually being in love with one of the more 'down to earth' local girls. Dexter messes up his life completely by getting involved with drug dealers. When T.J. comes along to save his old buddy fate strikes hard and Dexter is killed. But brought to his senses by this tragic event T.J. finally manages to save himself and to find happiness with the right woman.

First of all, Martin's part in this movie is more than just small, it's a 'blink twice and you miss him' job. He has basicly two 'big' scenes, and considering the quality of the film this might not be a bad thing! There might be some out there who fall for this macho rubbish, but we definitely get sick of it. We don't quite see where's the point in risking your life doing dangerous skiing that just some scenes earlier has killed your best friend. What do you wanna prove with this??? Probably only 'real men' know about this, eh?! At the end of the film logic is been thrown out of the window anyway, how can anyone win a skiing competition by breaking rules and using an unauthorized route? Especially as another team has already gotten the maximum vote??? So everyone who's not into endless skiing sequences and all this 'male buddies' rubbish has to be a big Martin fan to suffer through this flick. Mart's perfect German can only make up for so much ... (attention, if you're unlucky enough to see the German version Martin's 'Franz' becomes a 'Francois' and speaks French).
